Scene 1
King Yong's concubine, surnamed jing, when on the way back to Zhao Zhou.
King Yong concubine who surnamed Jing when 8 months pregnant died was killed on his way home to the Zhao Zhou Kingdom. The royal concubine gave birth to a child before he died, named Jing Zhi Wan, who was called Jing Ci. 5 years later, Zi Xia, King Yong concubine servant kidnapped a baby girl from a woman surnamed Yuan. Zi Xia assumed that the concubine King Yong died because of the woman surnamed Yuan did. When the baby girl will be killed by Zi Xia. Jing Ci, Concubine Yong' som saved the baby girl and begged Zi Xia Aunty to did not kill the baby girl, Jing Ci said " Aunty, this child is innocent, I am willing to take care of her forever ".
Scene 2
King Zhao Zhou and Jing CI, Jing ci was adopted as King Zhao Zhou adopted son.
Jing Ci eventually was adopted as the adopted son of King Zhao Zhou, because of his intelligence. While the baby girl which Jing Ci took care was named Feng Mian Wan, she was more mature and beautiful. When Mian Wan tried to catch a chicken to making soup with her beloved bird help, named Xiao Feng. Zi Xia Aunty came and scolded her because she made a noise when catching a chicken. Mian Wan afraid of being scolded for longer, that is why she quickly told her bird to fly away and hurried to take her catch chicken into kitchen to make it into a soup.
Scene 3
Jing Ci and Mian Wan, Jing Ci treated Mian Wan's hand when she injured
Mian Wan's finger was injured by a knife while she cutting a ginger when she made a bowl of chicken soup. Jing Ci looked then treated his hand. Jing Ci said, " It's OK failed to make the soup, even cutting ginger, you can get injured". Mian Wan just smile and said to herself, " Although I have much lacks, the prince still accepts me and appreciates me, I am willing to be by his side, accompanying him forever." The next day Mian Wan made a bird soup for Jing Ci and said, " If you like it, maybe Zi Xia Aunty will like it too and maybe she will stop scolding me."
Scene 4
Jing Ci and Mian Wan, Mian Wan made a bird soup for Jing Ci.
After Jing Ci tried bird soup made by Mian Wan, he calmly said, " But I don't like to eat food made by you ". Hearing the Jing Ci's word, Mian Wan replied " Sincerity of my heart, you could not accept it too?". Jing Ci answered in surprise, " Your sincerity !!! I can't accept it." while offering his food, Jing Ci continued his words " You taste it yourself." Then after Mian Wan tried that food, evidently the food was not tasty, he ran out to vomit the food she eats, Jing Ci finally smiled to himself.
Scene 5
Mian Wan served tea to the Yong Minister.
One Day Yong Kingdom minister came to establish good relations with the Zhao Zhou Kingdom. Zi Xia Aunty told Mian Wan to make tea for the minister. When the Yong Minister saw Mian Wan, he was like seeing a woman he knew named Qing Li. King Zhao Zhou explained that the woman who served the tea was a servant named Feng Mian Wan and her made of tea was very delicious. Without anyone noticed in the room, there is a servant who waited for the reaction of tea that been drunk by the Yong Minister.
Scene 6
Jing Ci dan Mian Wan, Mian Wan told Jing Ci that she was framed by Zi Xia Aunty.
Mian Wan found out that she would be framed by Zi Xia Aunty and the King Zhao Zhou daughter, the tea she had brought for Yong Kingdom Minister was given poison, so when the minister was drinking and poisoned, Mian Wan would be punished for the poisoning of Yong Minister. Actually, Mian Wan threw away the tea prepared by another servant, and re-brew a new tea, so The Yong Minister did not poison. When Jing Ci came home, Mian Wan cried out in fear and told about the framed incident of Zi Xia Aunty and King Zhao Zhoi daughter to her
Scene 7
Mian Wan, she waited for punishment for the Princess Ze Sheng incident.
Zi Xia Aunty and King Zhao Zhou's daughter persecuted Mian Wan's favorite bird, named Xiao Feng because their last evil plan for Mian Wan was unsuccessful, and this time Mian Wan could thwart it too. Thus made Zi Xia Aunty and The Princess even angrier, so in the end, they fought with Mian Wan. Xiao Feng saw his master being persecuted, directly attacking The Princess, he clawed The Princess's hand until it bled. Because of that incident, Mian Wan could get punished.
Scene 8
Jing Ci and King Zhao Zhou, King Zhao Zhou asked Jing Ci to be fair.
King Zhao Zhou said to Jing Ci if he believed Jing Ci would be responsible for what happened to his daughter, Ze Sheng. Jing Ci also promised to be responsible and fair to this incident. Jing Ci went to Mian Wan that was kneeling in front of Princess Ze Sheng's room. When Mian Wan saw Jing Ci, Mian Wan immediately told him if this incident was not Xiao Feng's fault. Jing Ci trusts her. But whatever the reason, Princess Ze Sheng has been seriously injured because of this incident.
Scene 9
Jing Ci scratched his hand to make amends for Mian Wan.
Jing Ci constrained to kill Mian Wan's favorite bird, Xiao Feng, so Mian Wan would be released from King Zhao Zhou punishment, even though it made Mian Wan angry at him. But Zi Xia Aunty still insisted that this incident was still Mian Wan's fault, which made Jing Ci decide to scratch his hand with a sword for amending the Mian Wan's mistakes, and Jing Ci affirm that Mian Wan's mistake was her fault too, Mian Wan was cared for and taught by him, then if Mian Wan was guilty, of course, he must be responsible.
Last Scene
Mian Wan, she went to the Shanghai Festival.
At the Shanghai Festival ( Known as Girls' Day ), Jing Ci took Mian Wan for a walk. He bought Mian Wan chestnuts. While they were looking at the lantern that sold on their trip, that is a palanquin carrying a man, that man who saw Mian Wan immediately out of from his palanquin, watched Mian Wan from afar with confused eyes but there was a longing feeling, after that he went back into the palanquin then he opened the box on his desk which contains a painting depicting the exact woman same face as Mian Wan.
